BALLARD—For all of you in a tizzy about The Pantry at Delancey, Seattlest has a pictorial peek into the buildout on Brandon Pettit's new community space behind the popular Delancey pizzeria (pastry chef Brandi Henderson and local caterer Olaiya Land are also heading the project). The Pantry will host its first family dinner July 8. Looks like the photos were taken by Gabe Rodriguez, husband of Not Without Salt blogger Ashley Rodriguez. [Seattlest]
U-DISTRICT—Grace Kitchen, the comfort food spot that has Jerry Traunfeld consulting on the menu, has become fairly prominent on the U Village landscape, specifically the former Zao Noodle Bar space. The Poppy chef is currently working with Cal Fairbanks, who will be running the kitchen, to finalize dishes. The restaurant will hopefully open the first or second week of August, if the fates (and inspectors) are cooperative. [EaterWire]
CAPITOL HILL—Ba Bar, the intriguing noodles, roasted birds and cocktail project from Monsoon's Eric Banh, is looking at late June, or possibly even early July to open. Rumor has it the hand-lettered signage goes up on the windows today. [EaterWire]
CAPITOL HILL—Lil Woody's, the much anticipated, yet also somehow rather secretive new burger shop says its opening is looking more like mid-July. [Facebook]
