Maybe now we won't have to call weeks in advance for a reservation. Allison Scheff of Seattle Magazine has a host of new details on Capitol Hill cascina Spinasse's in-the-works expansion. According to chef Jason Stratton, the currently tiny marble topped counter will extend into the new space, which will also include a pasta production room. Artusi, the aperitivo bar being carved out of the space at the very corner of 14th and Pine, will have its own food menu, including a braised, chilled pig ear salad. Spinasse's expansion will likely be done in late May, with Artusi opening its doors in the first half of June.
