Today's the day that the venerable Totem House across from the Ballard Locks officially reopens as a Red Mill establishment. Owners John and Babe Shepherd have overseen a major totem pole renovation and crews have rehabbed the decades-old hut inside and out.
So when can you get your hands on a burger, or some fish and chips? A Totem House rep says the restaurant will open at 3 p.m. Regular hours, according to My Ballard, are Tuesday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday noon to 8 p.m.
