CHEF SHUFFLES—Laura Pyles has left her post as pastry chef at Book Bindery, saying she wanted to spend more time with her family. Pyles came over from Bastille in April. Book Bindery owner Sumi Almquist says chef Shaun McCrain has once again assumed responsibility for the dessert menu. [EaterWire]
