The Latest in the Andrew Meyer/Bimbo's Saga

Silly, did you think the Andrew Meyer media clusterfuck was winding down? The saga of Bimbo's Cantina, bartender Victoria Liss, and two guys named Andrew Meyer has become national news at this point. Kudos to Capitol Hill Seattle blog for scoring an interview with the "wrong" Andrew Meyer, whose photo was mistakenly circulated after a gent by the same name left Bimbo's bartender Liss a $0 tip with a nasty message scrawled on the receipt. Bizarro Andrew Meyer sounds like a pretty nice guy; he tells CHS he received 68 hate emails and only three subsequent apologies. He has consulted legal counsel and has even been approached by a few TV producers.

Meanwhile Seattle PI reporter Casey McNerthney headed down to Bimbo's and found that the bar is no longer discussing "the bullshit." All he got for his efforts was a pair of double-decker tacos, for which he left a 27-percent tip. Seattle Weekly's Curtis Cartier also dug up some court records from another incident involving Liss.

So where's the "real" Andrew Meyer in all of this? Hiding out with Danny Jeffers in some sort of undisclosed location for vilified Seattleites?
