BELLEVUE—Chris Werner has the goods on a new breakfast and lunch spot in downtown Bellevue. Cafe Cesura does the usual coffee and pastries, along with some downright creative breakfast sandwiches. [Seattle Met]
UPPER QUEEN ANNE—Another pasta shop bids farewell to Queen Anne Avenue: Pasta Bella is closing at the end of October. Queen Anne View says it's a lease renewal issue, and the Ballard location will stay open. [QAV]
CAPITOL HILL—Huzzah, the Taylor Shellfish Farms location at Melrose Market is officially pouring beer and wine. Ooh and the shop, which sells shucked oysters and chowder in addition to take-home seafood, is now open until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. [Seattle Met]
BALLARD—The Geeky Swedes have more info on the mysterious Tuscan Stone Wood-Fired Pizza sign that popped up recently. The Tuscan Stone people had a truck downtown earlier this year, but pulled out when the cold weather arrived. [My Ballard]
