Yet Another Wild Salmon Threat

NYT-Salmon.jpgThe New York Times is tracking Seattle's concern about the potential impact of infectious salmon anemia. The deadly virus has been found in just two wild sockeye in British Columbia thus far. However the region's fishing industry is worried about this new threat to our wild salmon, described by the NYT as "a cultural symbol, a political wedge, a marketing phenomenon and good eats." [NYT]
