Opening Plans: The Wurst Place Mid-November, Lucky 8 in December

SOUTH LAKE UNION—Exotic sausage shop The Wurst Place's Robert Liptak tells Eater that they will undergo "final city inspections" this week and are hoping to open mid-November. [EaterWire]

CAPITOL HILLLucky 8, the Americanized Chinese eatery that will offer bicycle delivery, tells us that they have hired Justin Strand as the chef. Strand most recently worked at the Seattle location of Purple Cafe & Wine Bar. Lucky 8 plans for an early December opening. [EaterWire]
