This is happening: three of the much-anticipated restaurant projects of the season are opening on the same day, in the same neighborhood. Two are pretty much across the street.
Anchoring the North Broadway dining mini-explosion we have Altura, the seasonal Italian restaurant from former Ruins chef Nathan Lockwood, and his wife Rebecca. Keeman Wong's Hong Kong-inspired Bako opened its doors at 3 p.m. for 'foursies', the restaurant's take on happy hour. Twitter instructs you to consider it as "Something like high tea only more boozy and less gloves." Meanwhile, on 12th Avenue, Steven Han's gorgeously designed Momiji is taking dinner reservations for tonight.
