LloydMartin On Queen Anne Ave

Queen Anne Avenue is hopping today. Sam Crannell's LloydMartin opened its doors this afternoon in the space only recently vacated by Bricco. Crannell, you'll recall, was most recently at 5 Corner Market Bar & Kitchen, and previously at Quinn's and Oddfellows. However he's made it clear that LloydMartin (named for his grandfathers) won't be a place for burgers and pork chops.

So what is the food all about? Crannell has previously said the menu defies description, and will change often. However he intends to keep things affordable, with the core of the menu being less than $18. The upshot: better go check it out.
