Seattle Met's Allecia Vermillion brings the welcome news that Cafe Munir, a new Lebanese restaurant, plans to open in Loyal Heights. Rajah Gargour, who has previously worked at Szmania’s, Serafina and the now defunct Marco’s Supper Club, tells Vermillion that Cafe Munir's menu will center around mezze, a platter of several small dishes: "He’s planning a rotating list of 15 to 20 vegetarian mezze, and another 15 to 20 with meat."
The space at the corner of 24th Ave and 80th St was most recently home to Gabriel's Fire and Zagi's Pizza prior to that. Gargour plans for a December opening, subject to the usual caveats.
