Mt. Townsend Creamery Opens

Fans of award-winning Mt. Townsend Creamery's Seastack will be happy to know that the cheese maker has a new outlet in Pike Place Market. The small store is located to the left of Rachel the Pig, at 89 Pike Street. The Port Townsend Leader interviews Allyson Taylor, a chef who manages the new location.

Asked about their relations with the very proximate Beeecher's Cheese, Taylor tells the paper that Beecher's carries their cheese: "They’re our buddies,” and “They send people our way and we send people their way.” Hours of operation are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday.
