Seattle Times' technology reporter Brier Dudley hotfoots it over to South Lake Union to get the scoop on Microsoft Recruiting's Bacon Cart. The cart serves up The Swinery's pepper bacon and toppings such as spray cheese, Sriracha, peanut butter, maple syrup and chocolate sauce gratis. Dudley says, "Serious candidates may even get a bacon air freshener." He also notes that he did not witness anyone taking a bite: "As of 11:15, about 15 to 20 people had stopped by, including a South Lake Union trolley driver on his lunch break. A few had picked up materials but there weren't any serious bites yet."

According to Dudley, the bacon cart's schedule is as follows: 11 am to 1 pm in Fremont tomorrow (near the canal - either Adobe or Google side) and 11 am to 1 pm in SLU again(1124 Harrison) next Monday. Be the first, take a bite. Alternatively, per the campaign, "Wake up and Smell the Future."
