Wine Spectator just released its list of Top 100 wines, and Washington represents with seven wines. Matt Dillon may not pair them with his food, and some will argue that Wine Spectator favors its own advertisers. But, without further ado, here they are:
6. 2008 Baer Ursa
15. 2008 Efeste Syrah “Jolie Bouche”
18. 2008 Januik Cabernet Sauvignon
25. 2009 Owen Roe Syrah “Ex Umbris”
32. 2008 Andrew Will “Sorella”
39. 2007 Tamarack Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon
41. 2008 L’Ecole 41 Cabernet Sauvignon
Note that we count wines as Washington wines, when the grapes are sourced here, even if the winery is headquartered elsewhere.
