Harborside Restaurant Now Open in South Lake Union

Harborside, formerly the South Lake Union McCormick and Schmick's, opened last week. The Houston-based steak and seafood chain Landry's recently purchased Portland-based McCormick and Schmick's, but it has not yet impacted the design of Harborside. Peter Birk, who left his long time gig at Ray's Boathouse, will chef Harborside and return to the McCormick and Schmick family. A rep tells us that Birk worked at McCormick and Schmick's at an earlier point in his career.
