Broadway's Americana Will Serve Six-Day Brunch

Longtime Broadway fixture El Greco renamed itself as Table 219 three years ago and announced last month that it would change its name yet again to Americana. A tipster sent along this photo of a sign that states the name change will take place next week. We do not know how long the sign has been up, so the name change will be be effective either tomorrow (as previously stated) or next week.

The sign also says that beginning 2012, Americana will be open for brunch six days a week. Brunch has always been strong at Table 219. We'll have to see if Americana Owner/Chef Jeffrey Wilson can maintain.
