Trophy's Great Attendance Party; Poquitos Local Night

WALLINGFORDTrophy Cupcakes teams up with Mayor McGinn and Seattle Public Schools in the "Be Here, Get There" Attendance Initiative. Trophy says they have already donated 1750 cupcakes to public school teachers and now students with 5 or less absences in the 2nd quarter of the year will be eligible for a great attendance party in Trophy’s Party Room. DOWNTOWNHotel 1000 begins its 12 Days of Comfort, Joy & Cheer event series tomorrow and BOKA Kitchen and Bar will feature a new cocktail corresponding to the verses of the traditional carol. Menu includes items like the “Partridge in a Pear Tree,” an infusion of pear, rosemary, house vodka and champagne; and “Six Geese-a-Laying,” blend of vodka, hibiscus infused dry vermouth and lemon juice. Cocktails are $8 each and 12 percent of the sales from the cocktail menu and dessert menu will benefit Art With Heart, a nonprofit. [EaterWire]
