Bastille Snags Bartender Erik Carlson From Moshi Moshi

In an intra-Ballard move, Bastille has recruited the talented bartender Erik Carlson away from Moshi Moshi, says Seattle Weekly's Hanna Raskin. Carlson will take over the reins as bar manager from Charles Veitch, who is moving to New York, in 2012. After eleven years in the San Francisco cocktail scene(including a stint at The Slanted Door), Carlson moved up to Seattle in 2009 with his young family for a better quality of life and to help friends Kevin and Tracy Erickson open Moshi Moshi. No word yet on who Moshi will hire to replace Carlson.
