Little Uncle, the Thai pop-up shop that used to be known as Shophouse, opens its doors today from 11 am to 2 pm at its new East Madison home, per its Facebook page. Poncharee Kounpungchart and Wiley Frank are offering up items such as Pad Thai without noodles($8) and Pad Thai($8), and Sala Bao(braised beef cheeks bun) for $3. Cash only for now.

Wiley Frank began this pop-up shop, when he was still working at Lark. He and his wife, Poncharee Kounpungchart, initially held the Shophouse dinners on Monday nights at neighboring Licorous, before moving them to La Bete on Mondays. Seattle Magazine recently named Little Uncle, "Best Pop-Up Restaurant" of 2011.
