Porterhouse Pub May Have Closed

West Seattle Blog builds a convincing case that gastropub Porterhouse closed on December 3. No confirmation from the owners and no signage on the door, but after receiving a couple of reader tips, WSB swung by Poterhouse on Sunday and found them closed--when their posted hours would have had them open. As well, their website now resolves to a 404 error message and the Facebook page is no more. Finally, their restaurant is now listed for sale

Poterhouse opened in West Seattle in August 2009, in a space formerly occupied by the well-regarded Blackbird Bistro. Fans of Poterhouse, get thee to Mount Vernon, the original location (per WSB).
