Seattle Weekly editor Mike Seely does not have good things to say about the slices being served up at Apizza, New Haven pizza guru Bill Pustari's fancy new counter at Safeco Field. The $5 slices, he writes, "tasted like burnt high school cafeteria pie." Seely is quick to point out that the counter is still catching its stride, but he's not alone in his opinion. And it's just too easy of a setup for jokes about "serving terrible pizza...a few yards from a terrible bullpen." [Seattle Weekly]
