Marination Station Opens Its Doors at Lunchtime Today

Marination Station, the stationary sibling of Aloha-riffic food truck Marination Mobile officially opens for business at 11 a.m. today. The beer is cold (Big Al's IPA on tap) the loco mocos are filling and the lines will no doubt be long all the way until doors close at 8 p.m. The tiny corner space tucked above QFC looks like it's been around for a while, with plenty of personal touches. Finally owners Kamala Saxton and Roz Edison have some wall space to display all the awards they racked up with Marination Mobile. The space is so small that the coolers are in the main dining area, but a grid of cards and photos display meat-inspired art, Facebook accolades--even haikus
