Hanna Raskin samples the revamped offerings at High 5 Pie and reports "there are problems butter can't fix." The Capitol Hill shop recently reworked its crust and recipes after a review by Raskin predecessor Jason Sheehan that was so mean-spirited that he didn't even bother including his customary seven paragraphs of personal rambling. Says Raskin, "If the pies he tried were any worse than the slices I sampled, I'm inclined to think his review was kind." However her takedown is much more fact-based and rational.
