Seattle Met's Meaty Update: The Wurst Place Coming to SLU

New, 1 comment

Over at Seattle Met, Chris Werner checks in with The Wurst Place, a beer, sausage and fry joint opening in South Lake Union some time between mid-June and early July. Owner Bob Liptak promises a 15-tap beer list of "gems" that are tough to find elsewhere and Belgian-style frites with 10 dipping sauces. Oh, and the sausages? Look for a list of about 26, says Werner, including smoked elk, chipotle buffalo and apparently a rattlesnake and rabbit variety, along with more traditional versions. The restaurant-to-be has been chronicling its sausage tastings and construction on its Facebook page.
