Confectional on the Cooking Channel; Black Raven Bottles

REDMOND—As the crazy lines at its recent birthday party attest, people like Black Raven Brewing. The brewery has another expansion in the works, and will begin bottling small quantities of its beers. If you want a bottle, you'll have to head to Redmond; they'll be on sale at the tap room only. [WBB]

PIKE PLACE MARKET—Jeez, our local baked goods are getting a tremendous amount of screen time. The Confectional says it will appear on the Cooking Channel's Unique Sweets Sunday. You'll recall the shop is opening its second location on Capitol Hill June 4. [Twitter]

MAPLE LEAFCOA tequila and Mexican food spot doesn't open until later this month, but it's holding a few events this weekend, namely a street-style food festival on Saturday with tacos, gorditas, nachitos and ceviche tostadas, and a pre-opening family night Sunday where kids eat free.
