Coffee Stand Offers Celebratory Bin Laden Special

Way more timely than a Cinco de Mayo discount--one Maple Valley coffee shop is celebrating Sunday's U.S. elite military operatives' killing of Osama Bin Laden with a $1 drip coffee special. Candi Shack Espresso's "shot in the dark" promotion is advertised on the illuminated sign outside the coffee shack on Maple Valley Highway. It's a bit of a departure for a venue (which has a sibling location in Bellevue) usually known for having cute girls serving up drinks. Eater National tells us that Candi Shack is hardly the only venue offering Bin Laden specials.
