Il Corvo Opens on Pike St. Hillclimb

S. Pratt

After being quietly open last week, new pastaria Il Corvo opens for lunch today at 11 a.m. inside the venerable Procopio Gelateria on the Pike Street Hillclimb. Chef Mike Easton, most recently of Lecosho and former owner of Bizarro Italian Cafe in Wallingford, will be serving up four pastas and assorted antipasti on weekdays only to the downtown lunchtime crowd.

Easton makes pasta on the marble-topped table each morning--with the help of some painstakingly sourced accessories--and serves it up with fresh produce from nearby Pike Place Market. His spot is also the only place pouring Caffe Ladro coffee outside its own coffee shops. Il Corvo's pastas run less than $10 and the space has just 20 seats. You can see today's menu right here.
