Dumplings at Pel'Meni

PelMeni.jpgHappy hour writer Tan Vinh makes a rare foray into the Seattle Times' weekly Dining Deals feature, though the offerings at Pel'Meni Dumpling Tzar "taste better at night after you've had a few." The Fremont shop's dumplings "aren't the authentic Russian version," but instead have been "tweaked with a pleasant tart, spicy and curry flavor, with a chewy texture." Pel'Meni, long a popular spot up in Bellingham, opens at 5 and doesn't close its doors 'til the last drunk person is full. [Seattle Times]
