Attention Flame-Cooked Meat Eaters, Burning Beast is Back

Tickets are on sale for this year's Burning Beast, the orgy of fire-cooked meat put on every summer by chef Tamara Murphy. This year's Beast happens Sunday, July 17 at Smoke Farm. The lineup of chefs includes Holly Smith of Cafe Juanita, John Sundstrom of Lark, Crush's Jason Wilson, Tilth and Golden Beetle double threat Maria Hines, Josh Henderson of all things Skillet, and of course Murphy herself.

The experience of watching these chefs do battle with large pieces of meat and open flames can be yours for a $99 ticket. Buy them now; this will most assuredly sell out. Incidentally Murphy, formerly of Brasa and currently of Elliott Bay Cafe, is still hoping to finally see her new restaurant, Terra Plata, open at long last in the Melrose Market in August.
