Expanded Spinasse Reopens Tonight

After a few days of hiatus, Spinasse reopens tonight with its newly expanded dining room. The main entrance has moved slightly down the block. Otherwise the additional dining area, which adds 24 seats, closely mirrors the Capitol Hill restaurant's original space, right down to the lace curtains. Perhaps the biggest change is the glassed-in kitchen area for pasta prep, and the expanded chef's counter which will let even more diners watch chef Jason Stratton and his crew in action. The final piece of the expansion project, companion aperitivo bar Artusi, should open in a few weeks.
