When it comes to celebrating moms, nobody does it better than local food writer the Surly Gourmand. If by "celebrating" you mean "crafting hilariously inappropriate and juvenile insults." Eater originally wanted to interview Surly's actual mom in honor of Mother's Day, but he confessed that she has never read any of his writings, either on his blog or his regular contributions at Seattle Weekly. In the interest of maintaining Surly's choirboy image back home, we instead present you with some of our favorite "your mom" moments from his past.
