BEACON HILLSeattle Magazine's Cody Ellerd Bay reports that Bar del Corso's pizza oven completed its trans-Atlantic, transcontinental journey from Italy, only to break the sidewalk in front of the forthcoming restaurant. The six thousand-pound oven crushed the wheels of the forklift through the concrete. She's got lots of pics and the solution that ultimately got the oven safely inside. [Seattle Mag]
