Stumptowngate 2011

stumptown-nyt-150.jpgStumptown founder Duane Sorenson goes on the record with The New York Times, along with the coffee roaster's new investor Alex S. Panos. The two address head-on the percolating circulating rumors that Stumptown has been sold. Panos says he's providing an influx of cash that will allow Stumptown to expand to Brooklyn, Chicago and San Francisco, meaning Seattle's locations will become that much less brag-worthy. [NYT]
