Monday is the Last Night for Shophouse...At Least For Now

In addition to being the last night for Capitol Hill cocktail bar Licorous, Monday will also mark the last Shophouse dinner in the space. Wiley Frank, the sous chef at sibling restaurant Lark has been running the Thai pop-up dinners since last fall, along with his wife Poncharee Kounpungchart, aka PK.

Frank has confirmed that Shophouse is on for Monday, then he and PK are "stepping back for a couple seconds to weigh our options, whether it be spontaneity or something more permanent." Meanwhile, the couple will continue the Wednesday night appearances at the Columbia City Farmers Market, where they serve up market-driven Thai fare.
