Tomer Shneor of Cantinetta East is New Chef at Branzino

Oh good, some news about Branzino that doesn't include idiot vandals breaking the Belltown restaurant's windows. There's a new chef in the kitchen, Tomer Shneor, who came over from the Bellevue location of Cantinetta. In addition to Tan Vinh championing its pizza, Branzino is also known as the former kitchen of Top Chef season 6 contestant Ashley Merriman

According to Glenn Drosendahl, Shneor is currently working alongside outgoing chef Quinton Stewart, who is heading to Italy to travel, cook, learn and generally have adventures. Shneor's resume includes time at the original Cantinetta, and stints in New York City with Daniel Boulud and Lidia Bastianich's restaurant Felidia.
