Tracking the big names who dine at Willows Inn could almost fill its own separate website. A well-connected tipster tells Eater that Chipotle CEO Steve Ells flew in on his private jet with chef Nate Appleman (previously of A16 in SF and Pulino's in New York, now working for Chipotle) and Kyle Connaughton of Heston Blumenthal's The Fat Duck. The trio sampled chef Blaine Wetzel's creations at Willows Inn last night and were reportedly put up somewhere fancy for the night by Bellingham-based oven company Wood Stone.
