BALLARD—Summer means another chance to tour the rooftop gardens over at Bastille; the Ballard bistro is all about summertime events this week. The weekly Wednesday evening tours are led by Colin McCrate of Seattle Urban Farm Company, who designed and manages the restaurant's food garden. The $10 cost includes a cocktail produced with ingredients from the roof. Call Bastille to reserve. [EaterWire]
DOWNTOWN—Whoa, Dragonfish Asian Cafe has been around for 14 years? The restaurant is marking the occasion with a new cocktail menu from Kathy Casey Liquid Kitchen, creator of the original cocktail menu in 1997. Order the list's three signature cocktails between June 6 and 11, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Ishinomaki Chamber of Commerce and tsunami relief in the Japanese city where owner Takao Kikuchi's wife grew up. On June 11 local cocktail genius Andrew Bohrer will host a Japanese whiskey event with cocktails, straight-up tastings and paired bites for $35. A portion of these proceeds also benefit tsunami relief; more details and specials here. [EaterWire]
ISSAQUAH—Starbucks has confirmed that the Issaquah Meadows store will be the next location to serve beer and wine and undergo a reclaimed wood/communal table/Clover brewing revamp. The renovations should be finished by the end of September, with beer and wine service arriving shortly thereafter. [EaterWire]
MULTIPLE—Tutta Bella founder Joe Fugere was appointed vice president of media, marketing and events for the Associazione Verace Pizza Napolenata (AVPN), essentially the governing body of Neapolitan pizza. [EaterWire]
