WEST SEATTLE—Frilly Junction spot The Tuscan Tea Room has branched out from sweets and tea sandwiches. The tea room is now open for dinner Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights with Tuscan-inspired entrees and a menu of small plates and wine. Owner Aimee Pellegrini developed the menu with her father, Giulio Pellegrini of West Seattle's La Rustica. Check out the menu on the tea room's website (under the "about" tab). [EaterWire]

The "Market Bites at U-Heights" takes place next door to the market, and vendors include Rolling Fire Pizza, Lone Pierogi, CitiZen, Half Pint Ice Cream, Tandoozy, Patty Pan and House of the Sun.
