Potbelly Sandwich Works Opens for Lunch Downtown

Chicago transplant Potbelly Sandwich Works opened its new downtown location today at 10 a.m. The chain is fiercely popular in Chicago and nearly as prevalent as Starbucks. Come lunchtime the lines get insanely long for the restaurant's toasted sub sandwiches and milkshakes, each straw adorned with a tiny cookie. However Potbelly is also known for keeping lines moving, so try not to zone out with your smart phone and hold up the proceedings.

Potbelly also has a Bellevue Towers location in the works, opening later this summer. And right next door to the downtown Seattle location, Team Michael Mina is getting ready to open RN74 Seattle early next week.
