Michael Mina has confirmed that superstar bartender Murray Stenson won't be at RN74 Seattle when the much-anticipated wine bar and restaurant opens next week. However Stenson's not necessarily out of the picture.
The official word from Mina: "Murray informed us that due to personal circumstances, he needs three months before he'll be able to bartend. We are continuing conversations with him and we are both enthusiastic to work together in the future."
Here's hoping all is well with Stenson, who made a brief visit to Rob Roy's punch party last night. He recently told Jess Voelker of Seattle Met that the he was weary of the frantic pace at Zig Zag Cafe.
