The Raskin Report

Bar-B-Q.jpegHanna Raskin's on the case of Pike Place Market's missing Deluxe Bar-B-Q sign. Her sleuthing via city records and market folk conjures up delightful visions of Raskin's petite self sporting a magnifying glass and Sherlock Holmes-style deerstalker cap. The neon sign has become an icon of barbecue in cities far removed from Seattle, but it disappeared from the market years ago. The former stall now home to Umai Sushi & Teriyaki. [Seattle Weekly]
