Phinney and its always-lumped-together neighbor Greenwood are certainly having a moment of glory when it comes to opening new (and family-friendly) restaurants. Jess Voelker has more details on Phinney Market Pub and Eatery, opening late this summer in ? as you might have guessed ? the former location of Phinney Market. Owners Caleb and Jaimee Papineau live in the 'hood, and are envisioning a space with a play area that also serves beer, wine, and more upscale food offerings.
Also in store for Phinney and its environs: another family-friendly spot, The Ridge farther north, and an awfully nice-sounding Bluebird ice cream location that will even do a bit of brewing. Speaking of brewing, there's also a nanobrewery. Oh, and owner-of-things Mike McConnell has a pizza place, Bar Cornuto, in the works.
