Crush Debuts a Happy Hour; Closings; Reopenings

MADISON VALLEY—Another day, another James Beard award winner launches a happy hour. Nancy Leson says that chef Jason Wilson has a new Sunday-through-Friday happy hour at Crush. The food menu includes house-made chicharones and sliders containing the short rib for which people (justifiably) freak out. [Seattle Times]

CAPITOL HILL—CHS has more details on the closing of The Chapel, the bar located in the former mortuary at Pine and Melrose. Sounds like it was a "landlord/tenant thing," aka the two parties couldn't agree on some lease issues. [CHS]

BALLARD—The Geeky Swedes say that Sunny Teriyaki, which closed last month, will be opening its doors again. No word on the opening date, but the shop is under new management. [My Ballard]
