BELLTOWN—Tomorrow night is the final service for Restaurant Zoe...at least in its original location. Scott Staples' first restaurant will close its doors and prepare to move to its new Capitol Hill location at 14th and Union. The "new Zoe" will hopefully be open by the end of the year." As you might recall, Brian McCracken and Dana Tough are taking over the space. [EaterWire]
MEALS ON WHEELS—Now that Mayor McGinn has made the new street food rules street legal, mobile food fans are anticipating a wave of new food trucks hitting the streets. Damiana's Blue Truck Special has been in the works since last year, but owner Damiana Merryweather's got some good timing; Chris Werner says her "elevated comfort food" concept could launch next week. Merryweather, by the way, is the girlfriend of Skillet Diner chef Brian O'Connor. How about a pop-up, you guys? [Seattle Met]
ALL OVER—Andrew Zimmern of Bizarre Foods is the latest TV show to film a Seattle episode. Jay Friedman reports that Zimmern's shooting schedule includes SPAM musubi at Marination Mobile, and ID spots like Maneki. Word has it he'll also be at Seattle Coffee Works. [Sunbreak, EaterWire]
BELLTOWN—Justin Mevs' new spot The Lucky Diner is expanding to 24 hours, at least on weekends. The expanded hours begin August 5 and will be in effect Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Diner also has wifi. And cute uniforms. [EaterWire]
DOWNTOWN—Sunday nights are officially industry night at RN74 Seattle. From 5:30 to close, food and drinks in the lounge are 20 percent of (well, except the really fancy wines). The restaurant also has a late night happy hour starting Sunday: Every night at 10 p.m. Rainiers and Fernets are both $2, and there are $5 desserts and dessert wines. Klassy. [EaterWire]
CAPITOL HILL—It's Block Party time. Deals and specials abound, but here's a particularly good one: Show your block party ticket at Jason Stratton's Artusi bar and you can get its signature Bambi Warhol, and grappa sours for $4. That's today through Sunday. [EaterWire]
