Nancy Leson reports that Mexican restaurant Barrio has closed its Bellevue location. The shuttered Barrio will become an event space for Heavy Restaurant Group, the owners of Barrio and its siblings Purple Cafe & Wine Bar and pubby cocktail spot Lot No. 3. The owners tell Leson it will be reborn this fall to host receptions, fundraisers, classes and the like. Not to worry, the Capitol Hill location, however, is still packing in the patrons.
