Bastille Day Celebrations; Cafe Lago's Doposcuola; More

EVERYWHERE—A giant thank you to Jess Voelker for compiling this handy list of Bastille Day celebrations around the city. Eater would like to make one humble addition. [Seattle Met]

MONTLAKECafe Lago has a new summer schedule for its weekly Doposcuola classes that combine wine and antipasti with lessons in critical facets of Italian culture like Vespas and swearing. Summer classes include "the drunkenness of Noah," and a look at why Ballard is such a hotbed for gelato (instructor: Marcus D'Ambrosio of D'Ambrosio Gelato). Schedule and details here. [EaterWire]

PIKE PLACE MARKETThe Pink Door is hosting an evening dedicated to bees; apparently owner Jackie Roberts and chef Steve Smrstik have recently joined this city's legions of beekeepers. On August 7 the restaurant will show a documentary, The Vanishing of the Honeybees, followed by a conversation led by some peeps from Seattle's Urban Bee Project. Details here. [EaterWire]
