Seattle police say the man suspected of smashing windows at Belltown restaurant Branzino has been arrested. The 28-year-old suspect was reportedly arrested in an unrelated matter and was being held in Snohomish County Jail. The Seattle PI coverage doesn't mention Branzino by name, but how many other restaurants in the 2400 block of Second Avenue had windows smashed twice during the month of June?
The restaurant, which recently got itself a new chef from Cantinetta, had its front windows smashed the night of June 6, and again a week later on June 13. The suspect was transferred to King County and remains in custody as Seattle detectives continue investigating.
