CAPITOL HILL—The newest location of Blue Moon Burgers will open for reals on Saturday at 11 a.m. It's the first space the burger chainlet has designed entirely from scratch, according to owner Charlie Olson, so look for a spare interior, a large mural and some roll-up garage-style doors. BALLARD—A new restaurant, Benito's Chicago Eatery is coming to Ballard, and the Geeky Swedes say chef Benjamin Kulikowski will serve the "big three" of Chicago foods. That would be Italian beef, deep dish pizza, and hot dogs. To test Kulikowski's Chicago roots, ask for ketchup on your dog and see if he physically flinches or grimaces. Another nod to Chicago, the space (formerly The Mailbox) will have a Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired vibe. [My Ballard]

CAPITOL HILL—CHS checks in on sandwich shop Grubwich, classing up the site of the former Broadway Pita Pit, and says owner Brian Kun is opening his doors next week. Look for eight sandwiches, one burger and no pitas. [CHS]

PHINNEY RIDGEPhinney Market Pub & Eatery, the family friendly restaurant going in (shockingly) to the Phinney Market space, hopes to open by mid-August. PhinneyWood has some construction shots. [PhinneyWood]
