The Wall Street Journal credits Capitol Hill's Chao Bistro with launching the fad of barcraft, the "newest barroom spectator sport." For the uninitiated, barcraft is the practice of gathering together to knock back a few while watching professional video gamers play a game known as Starcraft II. According to the WSJ, a patron convinced Chao Bistro owner Hyung Chung to show professional Starcraft matches, "seeing that customers were ignoring Mariners baseball broadcasts on the bar's TVs." For the record, Capitol Hill Seattle blog was all over this back in May. [WSJ]
