Ballet Move; West Seattle Premiere Liquor Store

CAPITOL HILL— The Stranger's SLOG reports that Ballet, known for its cheap Chinese and Vietnamese fare, will move from its decade-long location at 914 East Pike. Ballet's lease will expire in December 2011, and the landlord declined to renew it. Ballet hopes to relocate within the Pike/Pine corridor. [The Stranger]

WEST SEATTLESeattle Daily Journal of Commerce announces that the Washington State Liquor Board intends to open a "premiere" store next week in West Seattle. The store will be at 4100 S.W. Alaska St. It will have a tasting bar, and be one of 30 liquor stores to take part in the tasting pilot program. [DJC]
